Our Inquiry into the Human Body: Class5AR investigations led to developing a jigsaw project based on 6 body systems and making brain models with a focus on elements of Design Creativity and Technology, Thinking through Communicating with Clarity and Precision and Interpersonal Learning (through Art Costa’s habits of Mind) .

The following examples are models produced by our pupils.

Brains

Design Brief: To construct a model of the human brain using usual household materials. The brain should be the approximate size and weight of the average adult brain. Identify the main parts of the brain. Present the model.
